Let me tell you about my experience coming back home this time. First off, Air France sucks. Big time. Won't recommend this airline to anybody. old aircraft, the seat is made of 'stone'. Imagine 13hours journey sitting on a rock? I am just thankful I still have a functional bottom upon arrival lol. Not to forget the entertainment system which is stone age technology. My screen in particular flickers every 2 seconds. Arriving in KLIA, my bag came out literally last; and still some people are left clueless asking the crew "where is my bag?!". pergh.. All in all not a very good experience. or maybe its just me being unlucky at the wrong place at the wrong time :s
Whilst airborne, sat next to me was a Turkish like chap. He told me he came with a group of friend, all work in a shipping company, going to work in Singapore. Bless him. And it appears to me that this was their first time taking a flight (at least seems like it). The air steward gave us a menu for passengers to choose from a selection of 2 food choices: chicken or pork. I am not too worried because I have made a pre-booking request to have a muslim meal. Few minutes later, I got my happy meal and the stewards ask the Turkish fellow "Bon soir monseur.. what would you like to eat?" To which he replied "FISH!" aku pun tersedak sekejap. The steward shook his head saying "Sir, you have only two options which is written on the menu..either pork or chicken". The Turkish guy look clueless and repeated himself "FISH!". At this point I realised that the Turkish guy might be a Muslim and it was his first time taking a flight, not knowing that he has to make a request for muslim meal. So I explained the situation to the steward, and the steward said that they dont have any spare muslim meals and they have to settle with either chicken or pork. The turkish guy looks unhappy, shook his head mumbling pork not good.. which I do understand that muslims can't have pork. So he just took the chicken. Pity him..
Finished my meal, the steward came again asking me for what I wish to drink. Just when I about to say Apple Juice, the Turkish guy shouted "WHISKY!" sambil tangan pointing in the air cam nak jawab soalan sikgu sekolah. tergamam aku seketika. ah sudah mamat ni, tadi beriya tanak makan babi, ni mintak whisky pulak..!! bila aku cite kejadian ni dekat my family, suma gelak gila babi..abang aku siap ckp "agaknya dia terfikir..dah alang2 makan tak halal tu might as well go all out, mintak whisky kah kah kah!"
aku rasa nak tergelak pun ade, marah pun ade. buang karan aku je explain kat steward tu pasal non halal food suma. cilakak punya turkish guy!! harap2 kau dapat hidayah je lah :p
Ape pun! I am in Malaysia now and that is all that matters =D the following day after my arrival, I met my old good friend Kaba at Saujana Impian. Borak2 semua, dia later revealed that he has set up his own business! He now owns a jamming and recording studio, at the same time rent out his PA equipment and DJ services for any functions e.g. weddings. Good for him!! and he is a school teacher by day ok! Aku pun jadi bertambah motivated nak ade business sendiri camni hehe.. So lepas pekena teh tarik yg amat nikmat itu, we head off to his studio in Beranang. Plan nak balik 10pm, trus jadi sampai midnite pasal jamming session hohohoh..lama sgt tak main bass, 1 round lagu plug in baby trus lengan kiri jadi keras gahh!! sepbaik kawan drummer dia pun power boleh cover my mistakes hehee. Now is pagi hari, my sister pun tgh melepak next to me main laptop dia. my mum sedang buat chemotherapy session yg ke-empat ditemani oleh my dad di hospital. kitorang nak ikut sama tp my mum suruh stay kat umah je.. hence i have got spare time to write this blog entry :p oklah nak breakfast dulu..later!!
